Intern / Production Assistant

We're looking for an intern to help us construct elements for a project in October,. Please be good at constructing elements with practical materials (wood, glue, paint, x-actos, meat pulp, dolphin face, comet dust). So, if you're a student or a junior level designer, illustrator, painter and/or fabricator that lives in NYC and you're interested, then please send an email to intern@saimanchow.com. A 30 second stop motion commerical for shopzilla with celebrity voice talent of Vincent Gallo and Brad Garret. The spot focus on the interaction between two fishes as the paranoid one goes through a emotional rollercoaster of his soon to be replaced home / tank. We aquafy the tank with some hand made funky set.

10 spot package redesign, idea came from the 80's phenomenal toy, rubiks twist. Base on a simple triangle form, it mulitply, manipulate to form girds, logo and different shapes to serve different needs on the package. TRIANGLE ATTACK!!!

I was invited to participate Hide and Seek, the 30th anniversary Hello Kitty Exhibtion held in Hong kong. After many debates, I decided to do a piece with claymation. Or so I thought Wallace and Gormit was just a piece of cake in my own fantasyland. After 2 agonizing months. Albert and I literally finish the piece the day before the expo. Whew!!!
